Being ravenous meant he was even less picky than usual, which was probably true for all of them. Some of the sweets looked awfully tempting as well, but that was something to contemplate later when they were more ready to carry things around. For now, paying the nice lady so they could get their handheld meals.

"You can get the fish," Kai suggested as he put the other coins away. Taking turns to make purchases until they actually pooled their lots together seemed reasonable. "We'll probably wanna grab a few other things to take back at some point too."
