Welcome to Gildenhirst, friends! It's a TEST DRIVE MEME!!
Premise, Location and more information on the Main Menu.
Our test drive meme is open to everyone, so please stop by for a little fun and see if you’d enjoy playing with us. The TDM primarily takes place in Gildenhirst, the main hub city for Bravely Borrows. The surrounding area of Caldisla is free game though! Please explore the setting as you desire.
LET'S PLAY DRESS UP
A big part of Bravely Borrows is getting your very own job class! While all characters start the game as a Freelancer and receive a random job asterisk later on, for the sake of testing you may choose from the following job classes to mess around with:
Red Mage ★ Monk ★ Knight ★ Performer ★ Ranger ★ and Freelancer of course If you desire these threads to be canon, an asterisk was simply loaned to them. Please return it at your earliest convenience.
NEED A QUEST?
If you need some direction on how to begin, why not gaze upon some sample quests? Go on a journey. Fuck around and find out. They are completely optional– write whatever prompts you want!
Eggs Aplenty
Oh no. Oh dear. There has been a horrible series of mistakes surrounding ChantiLilly’s egg delivery. For one thing, it was delivered to the Central Market on the Ground Floor! For another thing, there are far too many eggs here. Dozens upon dozens upon dozens of eggs. The bakery’s Patissiere would be grateful if you could help bring these eggs up to his bakery in Rooftop Gardens. You’ll get some gold and some fresh eggs for your troubles.
This Bunny’s Buggin Me
A farmer from Norende is going batty over the swarm of bunnies that have been getting into his fields. Help a fella out, won’t ya? They are swarming en masse and ruining the spring start ups! Don’t expect to be able to herd them out without a fight though– these rabbies really pack a punch! They’re also carnivorous so…. Watch out?
A Rock and a Hard Place
An avid collector is searching for some new specimens. They’ve heard there are some expansive cave systems in the Norende Heights that just might be the perfect spot to collect some geodes. The only problem is that they’re an eensy teensy bit full of kobolds. You’ll be compensated for your troubles if you’d go collect some rocks, and every actual geode will get an extra reward. Please don’t fall off the cliffs…! The paths are narrow and harrowing at times. Good luck!
Have an excellent time, friends!
Thanks for stopping by ♥
Greetings! If you have any TDM specific questions, you can ask here! If you have more game specific questions, kindly ask them at the frequently asked questions page so they can be answered for everyone! Thank you ♥
She had stepped through the door, yes, but this was in fact not where she wanted to be at all.
Kyoko had barely heard the directions she was so kindly given, had only made it down the mountain because it was the path of least resistance for her stumbling feet. Somewhere in the woods she had finally curled up under a tree, her legs screaming from exertion, and buried her face in her hands.
The pinks and purples of the setting sun were creeping through the golden canopy by the time she had calmed enough to realize something was scratching her cheek. Slowly lifting her head, she squinted dimly through puffy eyes to make out the odd little charm resting in her palm, safe and sound despite all the wrongness. For a long moment, she was still.
Staggering up to her feet again, Kyoko only looked around long enough to find the city lights winking at her from afar, and then trained her gaze back down at her cupped hand as she set off for them.
eggs aplenty
Wow all that sure was stressful earlier, huh. Good thing everything is just fine now!! Or, well, not really fine, but the most important things have been addressed and now it is clearly time to get ready for whatever new adventure she's on here, and earn some money!
And eggs! She has also earned eggs, apparently! Score!!
It wasn't until Kyoko had completed the delivery and stepped out to admire the view from the Gardens that she found herself mumbling, "But I don't have a kitchen..."
Oh if only any of them had absorbed any information that might have been handed to them about the journals in their bags. If only.
Well, maybe one of them had. Kai certainly hadn't. He'd spent the better part of the time Kyoko had lingered in the trees combing the lower part of the city. That was the only way to keep himself from succumbing to all the white noise threatening to swallow him whole. Just keep moving. He'd been terrified that his fears had come true, that he'd been the only one that had went elsewhere without them but...
The charm was warm in his hand. If he kept moving, he had to be able to find them.
Hayate had also done some egg delivery (since income is needed regardless of what world you're in) and was also gazing at the scenery from the Gardens. Income is good, but what to do with the eggs?
That's when he hears Kyoko's words and he can't help but laugh in response as he looked over at the other.
"Right? Aside from getting a pot and boiling 'em, don't think we can do much with them!"
[bark baRk BARK] No matter which universe a Kaito stepped through the door from, it seemed that each one of their instincts' was to sprint at top speeds towards the town.
This Kaito was no different. He'd stepped through anticipating that he'd be somewhere Else, but this was far off the mark. This wasn't a sprawling metropolis. Neither was it a forest he was even familiar with. The overwhelming feeling of Panic that was surging through his limbs overrode any initial wonder of how much life he was surrounded by-- it could be appreciated later. For now, he needed to run. His hands were too empty and his heart was screaming.
... He was also probably yelling as he sprinted through the trees. Sorry.
Kai was a little quieter once he'd sprinted into town, but not by much. The rest of his day was spent darting to and fro down the main street, checking each shop and alley he could find and bothering passerby with questions. Here he was now, skidding to a stop in front of someone (you!) with a firey look in his eyes.
"Yo. Hey. Hold up? Have you seen a guy and a girl around my height?" Dramatic hand waggle at his head. "She's got short bleached hair and he has shorter black hair. They're both really cute and probably freaking out?" You know, like he was!
[A Quest of Your Choosing] Ha ha yeah we sure were having some earlier stresses. Things are similarly Fine Enough now, enough so that Kaito was taking it upon himself to also check out the quest boards. It was a little surprising to see that people actually used it...? Huh!
He was tapping his chin in deep thought as he glanced between the different notices. Once he noticed that someone else had come up to check out the offerings, he abruptly turned to them to jab a thumb at the board.
"You wanna team up for somethin'?"
quest is cancelled everyone go home (jk it'll be rocks eventually)
The answer is flat and immediate. The blue-haired girl standing next to him leans in a little closer to the board, giving the listings a scrutinizing gaze.
"Unless... how physically strong are you?"
Her eyes don't move from the quest postings, but seeing as how there is no one else around, she does in fact seem to be addressing you, Kaito.
Hayate's wandering around town to get accumulated to his new surroundings when he's called out. He looks over at Kaito and tilts his head.
"Sup?"
A girl and a boy? Hayate's puts a hand to his chin to think if he's run across anyone that fit either of the descriptions. If they were freaking out he'd remember for sure.
"Can't say I have. They your friends?"
Friends... For a second, Hayate wonders if Mirage and Freyja's ended up in this strange world as well. If they are, he'd have heard about them by now so probably not...
[A man in loose-fitting clothing and a comfortable off-white sweater blinked once or twice at the sight before him, then looked over his shoulder as if hoping to see a door persisting behind him. Long violet hair tied loosely into a ponytail swung slightly in the motion, catching the sunlight in a way that may have highlighted it was not a particularly normal color to have.]
...Something seems a bit off about this. [Spoken like one who saw quite a lot off about this, kneeling to pick up the massive greatsword lying on the ground at his side.] And however did you get out here?
[Humming thoughtfully and resting the tremendous blade over his shoulders, Ardyn tilted his head with a small frown.]
Well...little to be done about it right this second. Best find somewhere a bit out of the sunlight first.
[ii; rock and a hard place]
[Dressed in the long crimson coat of a red mage and with a matching sword in a sheath on his back, Ardyn stood on one such precarious cliff looking out at the view with a low whistle.]
[Also an armful of cool rocks. He doesn't know how to cope without an infinite storage space.]
This is quite a remarkable place, isn't it? Not quite where I'd hoped to end up, but worth a brief detour.
[Who the hell is he talking to? Probably himself, maybe you, who knows.]
[Hello, it was a young lady replying to him as she hiked up the path, her own bag looking a bit on the full side. Most likely the doing of the Sandslash trotting along beside her.]
[ Kel was on her knees just a bit back, keeping closer to the wall as she rearranged the rocks in her bag. Nobody needs sharp points digging into their back on a mountain hike. ]
You hadn't heard of this place before either, then?
[Around and About] It was hard to say what she could have expected when Blue arrived. The prospect of somewhere new to travel had just been too tantalizing to pass up, and all of this was certainly very new. She hardly knew where to start!
Find her crouched under some of the golden trees, furiously scribbling away in her journal (how perfect that they just gave her a new one! for free!!). Or, find her fluttering between market stalls in town with just as much fervor. Get a load of all these weapons!
"That fish is huge!!"
[Eggs A Plenty] Time to start making that cash money. The old fashioned way seemed like it was a bit out of the question. Menial labor was the way today!
So here she was next to all these eggs (so many), dutifully handing pallets to the Charizard at her side. A handful of passerby were gawking as they went, though whether it was because of the small dragon or because the girl kept shoving eggs into the dragon's arms was hard to say.
"How many more do you think we could carry?"
Blue did you even know where you were going. Have you even considered the stairs. Blue. Blue please.
ok just pretend blue is aged up SuMo vacation red+green style or something...
Says what looks like a black and white goth walking stick who would probably be blown away on a gentle breeze if he weren't weighed down by the modest handful of eggs he was overburdened with. At least his Obstagoon had the fortitude to carry more - though from the look in his eyes, he was definitely considering eating his share for the transport fee.
Well dragons are... Normal, right (WRONG...??). So clearly everyone was gawking because the dragon's just so good at carrying stuff. Some helpful adventurers had lead him to the quest board instead of allowing him to keep asking where the nearest League gym is or where to find a Pokemon Center, so there he was at... Many eggs. A lot of omelettes.
Blue was a welcome sight in this unfamiliar place where people just stared at him blankly when he was making great efforts to talk about normal things, like 'Excuse me, where can I charge my Pokedex?' So in the moment Red ignored how strange it was to come across someone he knew and silently began hoisting some pallets off the ground. Hmm... If Charizard can carry a lot, and HE can carry a lot, then that's got to be like... double eggs.
"However many this is?" Red gestured with the pallets in his arms, "I can help. They go upstairs, right?"
He, too, will not be considering how many stairs he will soon be climbing.
Welcome! When she'd set out for a trip, Alpha was expecting some degree of familiarity in her destination, rather than the mountain pass leading down to the bright, autumnal golds of the forest below it. This. This is extremely unexpected. Uh... huh.
She's welcome to this change of plans, at any rate, and after getting the directions to the town, she... loiters around in the forest for a while, actually! It's lovely! It's not like anything in her world, at least nothing that she's had the pleasure of seeing, so she wants to soak in the sight for a while. While she wanders, she holds a camera up, though she seems to second-guess any shots, simply looking through the lens for a moment before pulling the camera back down. Hm hm hmm.... Oh! Another wanderer! Upon seeing a possible companion, she'll smile and try to wave them down. "It's stunning out here, isn't it?"
An Eggcellent Time Oh no, what a daunting task this delivery is! So many eggs, and so many stairs! One could get exhausted pretty fast trying to haul a bunch of stuff up there, unless one were to be a little hardier than the average human. Alpha won't load herself up too much, maybe just a pallet at a time since she wouldn't want to risk anything happening to this precious cargo, but she does look particularly pleased to be helping out. Just like a courier! Imagine if Kokone could see her!
"I wonder what kinds of treats they're going to make with all of these eggs...!" Maybe all kinds of interesting sweets and pastries she's never seen!
Not that the town was going to be devoid of people. There was just something extra nice about running into someone new under such lovely scenery. Blue easily waved back to her fellow adventurer, picking up her pace a bit to close the distance between them.
"Hello!" She turned around a bit to stretch her arms out behind her, looking up at the golden branches above them. "It's such a pretty shade of gold." Stunning indeed.
"Enough egg tarts for a full battalion?" That came from just a few steps behind, tone dry in a gentle kind of way. Kel had filed in line just after this young woman, similarly loaded down with eggs.
Kel had stepped out into the sunshine and simply looked around, stunned, at her mountainous surroundings for a moment. And then she swore. Stumbling around in a full circle, she demanded, "Is this what you call finished?" as if someone were there to answer.
She only allowed herself to stand around and stew for another moment, just long enough to scan the horizon for the clearest path towards, well, anything. A town would carry some risks, but she would just have to deal with them.
Fury carried her pretty far despite her fatigue, and her glaive was a good stand-in for a walking stick, but she hadn't made it out of the woods yet when she noticed the wetness trickling down her left side. Coming to a halt, Kel leaned the glaive against a tree trunk to free up both her hands, the better to fuss with the soaking bandage on her shoulder. It was hard to really address without taking off her armor, but maybe if she could just tug it a little tighter...
Somehow, this effort was more exhausting than anything else today. Deciding she'd fixed herself up well enough, Kel sagged against the tree, just for a moment. And then she decided to sit down, just for a moment. Close her eyes, just for a very, very brief moment.
bnnuy
SOME DAYS LATER, after much had been learned and certain issues had been addressed, Kel found herself with a new problem. A very common problem, one she'd always been aware could happen, but never actually, truly experienced for herself.
So this was what it felt like to be broke. Well, then. Let's do some pest control.
Having left most of her armor at the inn for this venture, Kel was free to run her fingers through her hair as she surveyed the field with a small sigh. "Do the farmers around here not keep dogs?"
This was actually the second time Blue had passed by the person momentarily growing into the tree. The first had been on her way back to town to make sure there were plenty of snacks in her bag for hungry creatures. It was a trip that had apparently only taken a moment, because here they still were. Blue frowned a bit to herself, giving a worried look around the trees. Was there anything lurking out there ready to find a snack of their own? Oh dear.
She crouched down nearby, watching them intently. "Excuse me? Are you okay...?"
Here We Are He'd gone through the door with no shortage of worry and trepidation in his heart, but Shinji was expecting a very different view to greet him when he got to the other side. His companions were no longer at his side, which was an outcome he'd been bracing himself for, but the mountainside was not where he thought he'd end up. The panic of not seeing any cityscape is barely constrained by the thought that maybe, perhaps, he'd been deposited somewhere remote as to not cause any kind of disturbance. It's quickly clear, however, that he's not in the right place at all.
Is this his fault, somehow? Because he didn't fully want to leave his life in Havenwell behind? Did he mess this up for the two of them two, or... did he end up here by himself? Ah... the thought hits him like a led ball dropping in his stomach. He absorbs enough of the directions given to him to numbly make his way to the town, but once he arrives, he hesitates. It's been so long since he's been around a lot of people like this, and he's already so anxious, maybe he should. not. Maybe he'll just nervously hover around the outskirts of town. That doesn't sound sustainable, my guy.
"Ah... what do I do?"
Job Quest Hunt Don't worry everything is Fine now! Whatever amount of time it takes to Be Cool later has passed, and he is. kind of cool. It's fine, don't worry about it!
Making a living here doesn't sound like it's going to be as simple as it had been for the last few years, and he wants to be as helpful as he can be, however much he's capable of. The quest board is where he's directed, so he takes a look to see if there's anything he's fit for.
"Monster fighting..." Shinji murmurs to himself as he reads over the postings. He should be able to do that. Or not. Who can say. Not Shinji. He's making a face at the board nonetheless. Hm.
"Sounds a good bit more dangerous than the standard fare."
Wearing casual clothes and an enormous red greatsword in a sheath on his back, a familiar individual leaned over for a better look at the board...then tilted his head at Shinji with a small smile.
"I don't suppose you might want company on such an excursion, would you?"
[is this what galar looks like] When someone promised Red a new adventure with sights he hadn't seen before, he was thinking more... Local. Like, he just got back from Alola, so he wanted to see something new, but this was... Alarmingly new. "Uh... Hmm." There was a path, but he was also standing on a mountain pass. So he squinted far off into the distance at the peak.
"'Kay, that doesn't look too bad," He declared mostly to himself. In spite of the clearly well-trodden and obvious path down to civilization, he clapped his hands together like he was dusting them off, nodded to whatever poor soul happened to find him staring at the steep mountain he appeared in front of, and he began going UP... He may have needed some guidance.
[frickin... bnuuy] Red was used to being ambushed by strange Pokemon, but that farmer wasn't kidding when he said "swarming." Initially he thought he could just walk right up to them and carry them out of the fields, but the teeth... Clearly this called for a different approach. He only had one empty Poke Ball in his pocket, and maybe if he threw it juuust so...
Oh he was doing it. Red was throwing a ball at one of the rabbies. The ball bounced off its head and it screeched at him. Red stayed frozen in his pitching stance, in some form of shock that Poke Balls definitely did not work against the local fauna.
"... ...Usually that works. What do I do?"
[DID SOMEONE SAY CAVE EXPLORING] Exploring a cave in the mountains that could mean certain doom with one wrong step? This was actually Red's favorite activity. He may have looked calm and collected, but really he was brimming with excitement (the kobolds are really going to ruin his day).
"This is neat," He said in earnest, but his focused expression made him look like he was making a sarcastic joke. Because WHAT WAS NEAT ABOUT HAVING TO SHIMMY ACROSS A CLIFF...??? "So have you found any cool rocks yet? The path's getting tight. Maybe they're all further in."
Just a few feet off to the side, a dubious look was being sent his way. "How... does that work?" That question was both ironic and genuine--Kyoko was assuming there was some kind of magic he was expecting to use there, but she was also trying very hard to imagine how it wouldn't have been completely lame. Was... was that ball supposed to explode or something? "Are you sure you didn't forget a step?"
i. no prizes behind this door. [ the most confusing about this whole situation is the fact that he was with his classmates as they head out of the recently-unfrozed st. hermelin to save maki. the moment he set his foot out of the school gate, brown himself found himself in dr●●●n q●●st land without his band of merry dorks at his side.
what he has, however, is his staff and gun. he lets out a nervous laugh. ]
I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.
[ he goes up to the nearest person, putting on his best smile, especially if he's talking to a cute girl. ]
You wouldn't happen to know where we are, would you? I think I might be just a bit lost here.
ii. bunny girls when. [ leave it to his gigantic, koshien-size mouth to brush off carnivorous rabbits just so he could play the hero for once. oh, don't you know? he fought against ancient evils and saved the town where he came from, a few dozens of rabbits are smallfries to him.
so here he was brown, in all his red mage glory, doing his best at a safe distance. to any onlookers or fellow quest-takers, they might hear him constantly complaining to himself as he hits another rabbit with surprising accuracy even away from the action. ]
Should've feigned being sick instead of doing this... can't believe there's an actual horde around of man-eating bunnies.
[ however, should you be a bystander that happened to stumble into the chaos, brown is quick to throw all pretenses and rush after you. just before a rabbit could attack you from behind, he's already running towards you and blasting it with fire at a close range. ]
Hey! You good? Sorry about that, couldn't let them get another victim, mwuahahaha!
iv. [ have a different prompt in mind? want to mix up the prompts? feel free to hit me up. my pm is open if you want custom starters! ]
maybe the real bunny girls were the friends we made along the way
[Yeah, Red's off in his own little world trying to make a net out of a sack and a tree branch. In his head catching these things and releasing them somewhere else is a much better plan than getting bit. But there goes the fire spell behind him so he turns around and... Oh, there was one behind him.]
[Job change; What's fantasy for a kid operating mecha?]
[ Hayate's never been the one to take the time to learn about other cultures before, especially when he was on his own wandering around the galaxy. It wasn't until he joined the Delta Flight and learned more about Ranga that he realized he should take more mind to learn about other cultures.
Not that he knew exactly how to go about that. What he was good at was picking up different jobs. What better than to try out the job asterisks?
When you run into him wherever, he’s trying out different jobs...
Whether he’s trying to fling a sword around or trying to conjure magic, pick your choice! He’ll be failing at it because he’s neither a martial artist or magic user, he’s a pilot, and any jobs he took on used robots, not swords or magic. He came from a world where the only magical thing was the power of singing, so conjuring elements out of nowhere was very foreign to him.
Plus, even when said VF units he piloted also included bladed weapons, he barely used them if at all. ]
How the heck do you use this??
[ Regardless of how things go, Hayate's going to eventually settle with being Freelancer... ]
[Bnuuies]
[ Hayate sure thought the bunnies were more tame like mercats, just without him sneezing everywhere and definitely thought it’d be a piece of cake because they’re kinda adorable, but as soon as he saw them open their mouths and fight back— ]
Mercats were assholes, but what the hell, man!
[ Hayate’s a pilot, not a fighter! He’s going to get overwhelmed by the rabbies real quick. ] Shit!
[ Man. Buddy. Pal. What the heck were you doing with that sword.
When given the opportunity to try out what the local folks called "jobs," Kel had reflexively shied away from taking the Knight--it was too strange to her still, to think of knighthood as something that could be granted with a little gem and easily discarded--but you know what. If this was what it looked like when an inexperienced person had new weapons and skills suddenly thrust into his hands, maybe she should just get over it next time.
For now, she wasn't going to let the restrictions of the Monk class she was currently trying on keep her from helping this poor lad. Surely he could only improve from here. ]
That depends on what you mean to do with it. [ She'd just been finishing up a set of push ups, so Kel wiped the sweat from her brow, then wiped her hands on her strange new skirt, and came over with a hand extended and a small smile. ] May I?
[It's a bug!] [Perhaps...Perhaps a strange, somewhat humanoid creature roaming the streets isn't the greatest idea in a world where all kinds of monsters and wildlife tend to cause trouble. Maybe a savvy adventurer could tell the difference, but anyone else? Well...]
[A kerfuffle and some shouting was taking place at a few market stalls, along with bit property damage. Ironically all the damage was caused by those just trying to take a swing at this "thing", rather than the opposite. And by the time anyone else shows up the alleged creature was already long gone.]
[Although, it may have been possible to catch a quick glimpse of something, like a tiny shadow darting pass. Seeking shelter somewhere that was a bit more quiet.]
[Obligatory Bench/Progress Save/Wildcard Prompt] [Just a bug casually vibin on a wrought iron bench. Not much to see here.]
[ For Kel's part, to see a strange creature wandering confidently--if you could call the way this one darted about confident, she really wasn't sure yet--through a bustling human town was odd, but not in a way that automatically flagged danger. If it was here to prey on humans, it was doing a terrible job; for all the ruckus, nobody could boast so much as a scratch from the thing.
So it was with the level of caution she would employ for a stray dog that Kel slipped into the alley she'd seen--or thought she'd seen--the little beast flee down. No fussing, no fretting, just slow steps and a soft, steady voice. ]
It's all right. [ Was it even still here? Her eyes strained as she scanned possible hidey-holes, but she wasn't about to lean down and stick her face somewhere a frightened animal might be. ] I'm not going to tell anyone where you are.
[Luna is always happy to help wherever she can. And while she does only have the capability to carry a few cartons of eggs at a time, even that should be enough to help.
So she has gathered up what she can carry and was on her way to deliver them when a single egg slipped out and smashed on the ground.
Luna can be found kneeling next to the smashed egg and looking very forlorn about it as the cartons she was carrying sit beside her, placed there very carefully to avoid causing any further damage to the wares.]
Medic
[It has come to Luna's attention that there are people getting hurt trying to gather some geodes. As such, she has used what money she has to purchase as many first aid supplies as she can and has set herself up nearby.
She calls out to everyone who happens by who looks even a little bedraggled.]
Oh! You aren't hurt, are you? I can help you if you are!
[A teenage girl in a blue school uniform and a lab coat happens to be marching by, carrying a few cartons of eggs herself. Or at least, she was marching. It’s a relatively busy street and with Luna crouching in the middle of the path, she is left simply staring down at the young woman with mild irritation.]
[Upon first hearing about the problem with some bunnies, Mitsuri was overjoyed at the idea of maybe getting to pet a few while she helped get rid of them. She was absolutely not expecting having to fight cute little rabbits off!! (Even if they're not as cute as they should be...)]
Nooo, stop, please! I don't want to hurt yoooouuuu!
[There are tears streaming down her face at the thought of hurting the rabbies even as she takes wide, sweeping swings at them with her sword.]
Rocks
[Mitsuri can be found in one of two situations while helping out with the hunt for geodes:
1 - She is busy fighting off some kobolds but is more than happy to have an extra little bit of help with dispatching them.
2 - She has her arms absolutely full of geodes she's collected after searching for hours. She's bringing back her entire haul all at once and can't really see where she's going. Though she doesn't seem to be struggling with the load she's carrying, she does keep coming awfully close to toppling over the edges of the path... She seems very pleased, though, and is humming happily to herself as she walks.]
On her trek up the very same path,Kel had seen from afar what first looked like some kind of rocky-headed monster heading down towards her. The realization, as she got closer, that this was actually a person was way more distressing. Her stomach lurched at every near miss with the edge. What an impractical arrangement, jeez.
"They really ought to lend out wheelbarrows for this," Kel sighed as she strode up to the walking pile of geodes. "You can't leave any behind?"

That's when he hears Kyoko's words and he can't help but laugh in response as he looked over at the other.
"Right? Aside from getting a pot and boiling 'em, don't think we can do much with them!"

Kaito | Ajin + CRAU | feel free to change formats!
No matter which universe a Kaito stepped through the door from, it seemed that each one of their instincts' was to sprint at top speeds towards the town.
[A Quest of Your Choosing]
Ha ha yeah we sure were having some earlier stresses.
Her eyes don't move from the quest postings, but seeing as how there is no one else around, she does in fact seem to be addressing you, Kaito.

bark bark?

Ardyn | Final Fantasy XV + CRAU

Right? It's been so neat so far!

Blue | Pokemon Gameverse AU | feel free to change formats!
It was hard to say what she could have expected when Blue arrived.
[Eggs A Plenty]
Time to start making that cash money.

I am letting my intrusive thoughts win so if u need to boss me around re: history/cr do not hesitate

Alpha Hatsuseno | Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou
An Eggcellent Time
Oh no, what a daunting task this delivery is!
Welcome
Not that the town was going to be devoid of people. There was just something extra nice about running into someone new under such lovely scenery. Blue easily waved back to her fellow adventurer, picking up her pace a bit to close the distance between them.
"Hello!" She turned around a bit to stretch her arms out behind her, looking up at the golden branches above them. "It's such a pretty shade of gold." Stunning indeed.

Kel | Protector of the Small series
Ah yes. A nap....
Dear.

Shinji Ikari | Neon Genesis Evangelion + CRAU
He'd gone through the door with no shortage of worry and trepidation in his heart, but Shinji was expecting a very different view to greet him when he got to the other side.
JobQuest HuntDon't worry everything is Fine now!
Hm.
quest hunt
"Sounds a good bit more dangerous than the standard fare."
Wearing casual clothes and an enormous red greatsword in a sheath on his back, a familiar individual leaned over for a better look at the board...then tilted his head at Shinji with a small smile.
"I don't suppose you might want company on such an excursion, would you?"

Red | Pokemon Gameverse | format changes ok! o7
When someone promised Red a new adventure with sights he hadn't seen before, he was thinking more...
[frickin... bnuuy]
Red was used to being ambushed by strange Pokemon, but that farmer wasn't kidding when he said "swarming." Initially he thought he could just walk right up to them and carry them out of the fields, but the teeth...
[DID SOMEONE SAY CAVE EXPLORING]
Exploring a cave in the mountains that could mean certain doom with one wrong step? This was actually Red's favorite activity. He may have looked calm and collected, but really he was brimming with excitement (the kobolds are really going to ruin his day).
"This is neat," He said in earnest, but his focused expression made him look like he was making a sarcastic joke. Because WHAT WAS NEAT ABOUT HAVING TO SHIMMY ACROSS A CLIFF...??? "So have you found any cool rocks yet? The path's getting tight. Maybe they're all further in."

Hidehiko 'Brown' Uesugi (Persona)

Hayate Immelman | Macross Delta
] Shit!
[or anything else!]
[ I am open for anything else \o/ ]
job change!
] May I?

The Knight/Ghost | Hollow Knight
[Perhaps...Perhaps a strange, somewhat humanoid creature roaming the streets isn't the greatest idea in a world where all kinds of monsters and wildlife tend to cause trouble.
[Obligatory Bench/Progress Save/Wildcard Prompt]
[Just a bug casually vibin on a wrought iron bench. Not much to see here.]

Luna | Virtue's Last Reward

Mitsuri Kanroji | Demon Slayer
Rocks 2
"They really ought to lend out wheelbarrows for this," Kel sighed as she strode up to the walking pile of geodes. "You can't leave any behind?"
