Eggs Aplenty
Oh no. Oh dear. There has been a horrible series of mistakes surrounding ChantiLilly’s egg delivery. For one thing, it was delivered to the Central Market on the Ground Floor! For another thing, there are far too many eggs here. Dozens upon dozens upon dozens of eggs. The bakery’s Patissiere would be grateful if you could help bring these eggs up to his bakery in Rooftop Gardens. You’ll get some gold and some fresh eggs for your troubles.
This Bunny’s Buggin Me
A farmer from Norende is going batty over the swarm of bunnies that have been getting into his fields. Help a fella out, won’t ya? They are swarming en masse and ruining the spring start ups! Don’t expect to be able to herd them out without a fight though– these rabbies really pack a punch! They’re also carnivorous so…. Watch out?
A Rock and a Hard Place
An avid collector is searching for some new specimens. They’ve heard there are some expansive cave systems in the Norende Heights that just might be the perfect spot to collect some geodes. The only problem is that they’re an eensy teensy bit full of kobolds. You’ll be compensated for your troubles if you’d go collect some rocks, and every actual geode will get an extra reward. Please don’t fall off the cliffs…! The paths are narrow and harrowing at times. Good luck!

Oh that escalated faster than she had expected, mostly because Kyoko was honestly not super well-versed in animal behavior. She could accept the concept of a magical ball that ?sucked animals up into it? though, no problem. Got it. That would be very interesting later, when there was not an emergency on their hands.
There was a yelp when the rabbie bit him, as if she'd been the one to take damage. No, calm down, Kyoko, think--in the time it took for him to pry the bunny off his leg and hold it up, she located a stick. Now she was ready to hold it up at the ready and uh stare uncertainly back over at him. Hm.
When Kyoko yelped too Red's head snapped in her direction in a moment of panic, but once he saw that she wasn't bitten he relaxed. Uh, as relaxed as he could get with a bunny trying to chew on him.
He was fine. Probably. This stuff happened to trainers all the time. But the stick... Red went back and forth from it to the rabbit a few times, and a single rusty gear started turning in his head.
Even with that suggestion, Kyoko failed to make any connection between baseball and her newly acquired weapon. He just meant throw it really hard and fast, like a pitcher would, right? That was probably for the best! So, yeah!
"Like a baseball! Do it!!" Before it bites you again, man!
Like a baseball... And Kyoko was holding a stick... And Red threw things a lot...
"Okay?" She was going to knock this rabbity thing out of the park- ...farm. Oh it was absolutely going into the sky. If she was telling Red to throw it then he just instantly presumed that was what she meant and in that moment he decided that Kyoko was an ace batter. SHE COULD DO ANYTHING. "Ready?"
He was throwing the bunny directly at Kyoko's stick.
No jury would ever convict Red for what was about to happen. This was not his fault. He was just doing his best.
But when he threw that bunny at her, this ace batter's instinct was only to scream and flail wildly and throw her stick--maybe there had been some thought of hitting the rabbie with it midair, but no it was just gone now probably. That angry rabbit was going right into her arms as she fell on her butt.
After he threw it Red was looking up at the sky expecting to see a flying rabbit, but instead he heard Kyoko scream so THAT IS... A BIG PROBLEM... He really thought the worst thing that could happen would be the creature flying back into his face and that would have been fine.
"Oh crap." Well said! He ran over as soon as he could to help wrestle the rabbit off of her, so that it can chew on him instead of her if successful. "Sorry! My fault."
The screaming and flailing continued even after Red had retrieved the rabbie because this was still a problem! What were they gonna do? Now he was just gonna get mauled instead of her!
"Nononono! Just get rid of it!! That's what I was saying! You have to throw it somewhere else!"
...Rude. Okay, yeah, he nodded, turned around, and chucked the rabbie as hard as he could. It went flying, but he turned back around to face Kyoko before he could see how far away he actually threw it.
"You haven't... Seen any more, have you?" Red was beginning to rethink his entire strategy.
"There are supposed to be a lot, right?" Kyoko was leaning to look around him--how far away did that rabbie end up? Was it coming back? "Wasn't that the problem? We need to figure out how to handle a whole infestation!"
A beat, and then she looked back at Red, remembering something. "--Ah, did you get hurt just now, though? Any wounds??"
